I knew Larry since Grade School. He was a good, decent young man and I’m sure he grew up the same.I remember even in Grade School Larry always wore sports jackets to school.I am sorry we lost Larry at such a young age.
The warmth, kindness, and both paternal and professional guidance which Larry Jr. offered to us when he and Donna would have us in his home for our high school band practice was instrumental to the pursuits of the passions which have guided Larry the 3rd through his own professional career. That is how you foster and facilitate your child’s interests, to further equip him with the tools and capability to handle both the social and economic world with his head held high, able to carry himself with as much dignity as his father had in his stride through the world. Consummate family and business man; aplomb personified; the world has lost a good man to an unfortunately under researched condition. I hope his friends and family can find personal healing for their own loss through the public healing which Lawrence III intends to seek with the research institution he has founded in his father’s name. May we all seek health and healing.
Larry was a great guy and be missed by all that knew him.Having the pleasure of knowing and working with him for 25 years.Sadly i can say i have lost a friend.Rest easy larry your with god now.
Of all the friends I have had in my 61 years I have NEVER had one like you. From the moment I met you and your family we connected and it grew stronger thru the nearly 30 years. Words cannot express the feelings in my heart right now. Although we lived in different parts of the country when ever we spoke it was like being together. Thank you Larry for all the happiness you and I shared. I believe in GOD and I know you did too, only now you have met him, your spirit will always live on in all of our hearts, we will never forget you, and pray that you will watch over us until we meet again.
Larry will be sorely missed as father, husband, friend and drummer. To us he was the glue that held the band together. He provided rehearsal space, refreshments and booked playing engagements which we could not have done without him.
I grew to know Larry better over the four years we played together only to discover that we were two peas in a pod. Our similarities were such that I used to joke that we were twin sons from different mothers.
Larry I know that you are at peace now and for that I am happy but I will be forever sad that you left us too soon.
Larry was always with a smile and a great love of family ! I will miss him !
We were so sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. He fought a courageous battle with a horrible disease. He will be missed by many. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
My dear cousin Larry. I am so very sorry to hear of your passing. I have such great memories of us as children playing at grandma & grandpas house on the holidays. You grew up to be so much like my dad, a man I will always admire. I hope you are at peace now with your dad, and to all your family I hope in time you will remember only the good memories of Larry. Larry you will always be in my heart.
Larry was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet
He was my boss but not only that,he was a true friend that you could talk to about anything
I’ll miss seeing him at his desk in his office and the way he made us all laugh
I’ll also miss seeing him play with his band that he loved so much
Here’s to a great man that we’ll always remember
Rest in peace Boss
Mike
Oh, Larry, I am so sad that you had to leave us so soon. It’s not often that you meet people that make you feel like family from day one. That’s how you, Donna and Little Larry made us feel. I just don’t have the words to express how much you will be missed by both Terry and me.
Terry has been in many bands over the years, but none were as much fun as the Knucklehead family.
I sure hope there’s a band in Heaven, and we’ll meet you there one day.
We love you!
From the moment I met you in high School we connected and our business relationship was even stronger over the years. Words cannot express my feelings in my heart and the loss of a friend, businessman, and true child of God. We spoke often about family values and what it meant to us growing up in this generation, and how important good business values meant to our reputation. Most of all you were such a good listener no matter how busy the days would pass us by. You always had a good word to say about everyone and everything, that’s what I loved about you my friend. Thank you Larry for all the great conversations you and I shared over the years. We often spoke about your pain and just how courageous you were you and strong until the end. GOD needed you now, your spirit will always live on in all of our hearts, we will never forget you, and pray that you will watch over us until we are called to be with you on your bus in the sky. Thank you for your friendship, love and respect, and on behalf of all the children you provided a bus ride to and from the Christmas Parties over the years, they will forever be indebted to you and the love and dedication that was truly unconditional.
You are and will truly be missed!

My dear friend Larry, what an honor it has been to be your bandmate and more so, your friend. I only wish I had found you, Donna, Larry 3 and The Fabulous Knuckleheads sooner. Your friendship meant more to me than you will ever know. Always a gentleman, eager to please, and easy with your smiles and laughter. I will so miss looking up at practice in the middle of a song, to see you smiling, because you were doing what you truly loved. I’ll see you on the other side, and someday The Fabulous Knuckleheads will be together again!
I Love you!
I was working with larry over the past year on projects and enjoyed
his good business sense and strong business ethics. You will be
missed and we will think of you everyday.
I am so sorry for your loss! Although I never met Larry, I heard alot about him through his sisters.
Larry was a good man… He always took the time to talk to me. The last time I saw larry was in 2010 and we spoke for over an hour. A good man who will be GREATLY missed. God Bless You Larry!
I remember Larry for the endless supplies of sports coats he wore to school and the fact he was a good, decent ,kind young man in grade school.Larry could take a joke and return a joke.Rest in Peace Larry you are a special man.
I met Larry in Junior High School and from the start he displayed QUALITY. Larry dressed in a different sports jackets every day. In Junior High School Larry’s personality reflected his immaculate dress code. I am not at all surprised that Larry had a successful life. Rest in Peace.
