Amy Lee Oldfield
Amy Lee Oldfield passed away peacefully in the presence of her devoted family and friends at Milton Hospital on Sunday May 15, 2011. Amy was the beloved daughter of Margaret O’Connor Oldfield and the late Robert C. Oldfield. She was the special sister to F. Joshua Oldfield and his wife Stephanie, Maggie Laing and her husband Phil, Hanna Ricciardi and her husband Ricky and Bobbi Wegner and her husband Mark. She was the doting aunt to Frankie Oldfield, Chandler & George Laing, Rob, Emory, Josh and Reese Amy Ricciardi and Cameron and Tyler Wegner. Amy loved life especially traveling the country with her family in their camper. She was an avid swimmer, bowler and patron of the arts. Amy especially loved making people happy and laughing with her nieces and nephews. Amy will be greatly missed by all. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Reedsdale Road at Randolph Avenue, Milton, Thursday May 19 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON, Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Amy can be made to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon Street, Newton 02468 or South Shore Support Services, P.O. Box 890126, Weymouth, MA 02189.

I never saw Amy without a smile on her face and a family member by her side. Her sunny disposition and her family’s devotion was a perfect mix for a happy life.
It was an honor to know Amy and to have worked with her and her family. Her Mother’s and siblings devotion sums it up. She will be missed by all at South Shore Supports.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss, as her obit states she could bring a smile to many faces. I was blessed to have worked with Amy at Work Inc. and had many smiles during this time. I used to dance with her while I sang “Once in love with Amy which always made her smile.

Marge, I was so sorry to hear about Amy. I have so many wonderful memories of when I had her at Evergreen. I am sorry I could not make the services as my mom has been in the hospital. You and your family should be so proud of how well you loved and took care of her. I can imagine her feeding Beau a few apples now!

I was driving on Hillside Road today and noticed the limo’s and was completely caught off guard by the passing of Amy. I have many fond childhood memories of the Hillside area, Thayer Nursery, and Milton Youth Hockey. All of which are synonymous with the Oldfield family. I’m truly sorry to hear about the passing of Amy and my sincerest condolences to the entire Oldfield family.
