John F. “Jack” Creedon
John F. “Jack” Creedon, 82, of Milton, died on November 21, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Joan, the devoted father of Julianne of Randolph, Joan Glick and her husband Peter Glick of Foxboro and adoring grandfather of Abigail and Tyler Glick of Foxboro. He was the brother of the late William, Anastasia, Joseph and James. John served in the US Navy and in the US Marine Corps. He was a Milton Firefighter for 21 years, graduated from Boston State College in 1971 and became a middle school Math teacher in the Milton Public Schools until his retirement in 1989. Funeral will be Monday, Nov. 29 from Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave. MILTON at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton at 10:00AM. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home are on Sunday, Nov. 28 from 3-7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name may be made to the Milton Fireman’s Relief Association, 515 Canton Ave. Milton, MA 02186.

Joan and family – My condolences to the family. Jack was a great guy, who will ever forget 9th grade algebra and the ring, when you didn’t get the answer right he would turn the ring (Boston College ring I think) around and “tap” you on the head. Believe it or not I recently thought of Jack, and was stunned when I heard of his passing. Your family was a memorable part of my childhood. I enjoyed our visit in 2004 and will always remember the good times our two families had together through the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sorrowful time.
