George P. Trebino, a retired operations manager, died at Norwell Knoll Nursing Center, Norwell, Tuesday September 7, 2010.

Born in Medford, he was a longtime resident of Dorchester. Mr. Trebino was a retired operations manager for B.F. Goodrich Tire Company. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Dorchester VFW and Council 180 Knights of Columbus, Dorchester Lower Mills.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen (Heffernan) Trebino. Loving father of Stephen Trebino of Hingham, Patricia Trebino of Needham, Anne Trebino of Lawrence, Kansas and Thomas Trebino of Norwell. Brother of Anna O’Connell of Medford. George is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester, Friday September 10 at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Thursday 4 – 8 PM. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
