Jeremie J. Pamphile
Jeremie J. Pamphile, a retired mason, of Dorchester, MA, died on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at his home in the presence of his loving wife, Luce Pamphile and family. He was 85 years of age. Born in Meyotte, Petion-Ville, Haiti, Jeremie was the loving father of Michaelle, Maude, Chantal, Ingrid, Marie Claude, Gina, Darlene and his late infant son Alex. Brother of the late Carmene Val, Martha Desroches, Louise Pamphile and the late Marc Moise Pamphile. Jeremie is survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS Friday, August 20, 6-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Matthew’s Church, 33 Stanton St. Dorchester, Saturday, August 21 at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.

Brother Jeremie was a significant but quiet force in the community in which he lived. His captivating smile, subtle zeal, and constant efforts to make things better for others leaves a gap in this neighborhood and beyond.
As a man and as a person, I’m certain he has gained the reception of the Almighty with entry into a much better place.
