Alice T. (McElearney) Doyle, a resident of Milton for over 45 years,

died on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in

Hingham after a lengthy illness.

Born in Cambridge, Alice was a graduate of Saint Mary High School in Cambridge and Laboure Nursing School in Dorchester.

Alice was a private duty nurse at several area hospitals for many years.

She later worked at Milton Healthcare Nursing Center for several years before her

retirement in 2005.

Beloved wife of the late William E. Doyle. Loving mother of Joseph E. and Michael E. Doyle both of Quincy, James M. Doyle of Dudley and Christine M. MacLean of Milton. Sister of the late Mary Mahoney, Robert, Donald, Richard and Ralph McElearney and Kathleen Lebossiere. Alice is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Milton on Friday, May 21 at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, MILTON on Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
